double sunset lapse

last night tina and i sat in the car and filmed the sunset

it had a double effect

roof fail

i put camera and tripod on roof

wind gusts blow

storms fly by

storms came so close, but not close enough to see the lightning that was happening

you can see the storm in the bottom right of the vid, it just missed us

yes still milking the chicago bolts, but thats only because there are none in idaho, or i'd be on them.

a giant storm was on course to my homeland, and it's as if it hit an invisible wall just at visibility distance.  i watched it evaporate on radar.

i'm working in chicago for a week and this place is loaded with lightning.

this video is 20 strikes (had 80 on my camera but went with quality over quantity)
